Twiggle Team Member - BeWILDerwood Norfolk
We are looking for smiley humans to join The Twiggle Team at BeWILDerwood Norfolk, ensuring all our lovely visitors have the best day ever!
We are looking for brilliant smiley humans to join the Twiggle Team at BeWILDerwood Norfolk.
As a friendly human helper of the Twiggles, you will be committed to ensuring every single one of our visitors has the best day possible. You’ll say hello to everyone as you pass - especially Mildred, be enthusiastic in everything you do, have a love for the outdoors (we are in a woodland, after all) and work best as a team.
We have positions available across the following areas:
Park Ranger - you’ll be working in the heart of our WILD woods making sure everyone’s happy and playing safely in adherence to our safety guidelines. This will include manning our various play structures such as slides and zip wires, working as a team to complete regular daily safety tasks and helping maintain a clean site.
Front of House & Retail - Welcome our WILD explorers into the woods and ensure they have all they need ready for the best day EVER. You’ll be on hand for any visitor enquiries, working on tills and providing a cheery farewell when visitors wander home boring home. In the Bizarre Bazaar gift shop, you’ll be pricing and putting out stock, cleaning bits and bobs and selling our WILD and wonderful products.
Catering - you'll be serving our lovely visitors on a till, making teas & coffees, clearing tables and prepping sandwiches. Yummy! Previous catering experience is not essential as full training will be given, but a love of food is welcomed.
Events and Storytelling - Bring the BeWILDerwood books to life using your dramatic & creative flair! Learn the stories and enchant our lovely visitors with tales of the characters that in live in the world of BeWILDerwood, through arts and crafts, face painting and storytelling.
BeWILDerboat Driver - Transport our lovely visitors into the world of BeWILDerwood from the Long Lagoon, down the Dysmal Dyke and onto the Scaaaaary Lake… what made that noise? You’ll be the first introduction to the world of Twiggles and Boggles for many, so you’ll need to ensure you deliver the same tip-top experience each and every time. Previous boating experience is great but not essential as full training by Swampy (and his human helpers) will be provided.
Receptionist - Answer any and all enquiries into our wonky world – be it over the telephone, email, the post, or in person. This will include (but isn’t limited to) responding to visitor queries, creating bookings and taking payments through our system, and general office duties. Having previous customer service experience is useful, but not essential.
These are seasonal positions with flexible working patterns. Successful candidates must be available to work weekends and during the Norfolk school holidays. Various shifts are available within the hours of our opening dates.
If you believe you’re the perfect person to join our team, we’d love to hear from you!We prefer to get to know you in a way we understand, so please head to our website where you can download and complete our application form. We look forward to hearing from you!
