My client, a leading provider of home improvement and carbon reducing initiatives in Wales, UK, is urgently seeking suitably experienced and passionate community sales representatives to join their team!
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing residents’ eligibility to have eco-friendly upgrades done to their homes, which includes solar power, insulation and air source heat pump, helping the homeowners of the UK to become greener. This is a government run incentive and my client has won the contract for ensuring people who are eligible, get access to the funding they deserve to help them reduce not only their energy costs, but also their carbon footprint. The best part is qualifying residents have the cost fully covered by the energy companies and have no out-of-pocket expenses!
Their ideal candidate will have current experience in sales role and be looking for a new exciting challenge where they can earn up to £120k per year. Be confident in speaking with potential clients and understanding their needs for home improvements and carbon reduction. You’ll be a great team player, be willing to learn and enjoy the benefit of full training provided by the company.
WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU IF;
· You are passionate about climate change and helping people live greener lives.
· You have strong customer service skills – particularly in person.
· Have had experience in a sales or customer service role previously.
· Have strong relationship building and inter-personal skills.
· Have a full UK driving license.
· You love to learn and be an expert in your field.
· Have strong written communication skills.
· Can manage your own time well and work both independently and as part of a team.
· Understand how each homes carbon footprint affects the environment and why environmental upgrades are paramount for peoples home and their energy efficiency.
THE ROLE & WHAT YOU’LL DO;
· Work as part of a local task force, visiting residents at their home to make assessments about their property and determine whether they qualify for the government scheme.
· Once a resident has been ascertained as eligible, meet with them to discuss moving forward with their improvements to help them reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint.
· Collect relevant customer information and ensure it is passed onto the operations team.
· Assist with closing homeowners’ deals.
· Explain the benefits of the scheme to eligible customers.
· Answer any questions homeowners may have about their property upgrades and their eligibility.
· Attend regular team meetings and training sessions with the rest of the team.
· Participate in meetings by sharing ideas and strategies, along with feedback obtained from residents.
