EXAMINATIONS INVIGILATOR (TO WORK ACROSS 3 SITES: THE PRIORY ACADEMY LSST, THE PRIORY WITHAM ACADEMY AND CITY OF LINCOLN ACADEMY)
SALARY: £10.98 PER HOUR
HOURS: CLAIMS BASIS
TEMPORARY (A review will take place at a later date to be made permanent)
START DATE: 13TH APRIL 2023
The Priory Federation of Academies Trust, an established and supportive MAT, is seeking to appoint a number of Examinations Invigilators to work at our three Academy sites based in Lincoln; The Priory Academy LSST, The Priory City of Lincoln and The Priory Witham Academy. You will be required to work at all sites on a claims basis contract.
No experience is necessary, as full training will be given. The successful applicants must be flexible in their availability to working hours, especially for our key summer dates and will have desirably worked in a customer- focused environment.
You will be required to attend mandatory training prior to starting your role as an Invigilator. This will be discussed further at the interview.
Duties include:
- Assisting candidates prior to the start of examinations by directing them to their seats and advising them about possessions permitted in examination venues.
- Ensuring that candidates do not talk once inside examination venues.
- Invigilating during examinations, dealing with queries raised by candidates and dealing with examination irregularities in accordance with strict procedures.
- Checking attendance during examinations.
- Recording details of late arrivals.
- Escorting candidates from venues during the examinations as required, and supervising candidates whilst outside examination venues.
- Collecting and collating scripts at the end of the examination in accordance with strict procedures.
- To attend and participate in the invigilators annual training day to update knowledge on regulations and procedures.
