Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Salesperson to join our team, specialising in kids' photography. As a Salesperson, your primary responsibility will be to canvas the general public and actively promote our kids' photography services to prospective clients. You will play a vital role in generating new business opportunities and expanding our customer base. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for working with children, and the ability to close deals effectively.
Responsibilities:
Canvass designated areas to proactively engage with the general public, including parents, guardians, and members of the public likely to have children in their family or friends circles, to promote our kids' photography services.
Clearly articulate the benefits of our services, emphasising the importance of capturing precious moments and creating lasting memories for children and their families.
Build and maintain relationships with potential clients by providing detailed information about our photography packages, pricing, and additional services.
Respond to inquiries from prospective clients promptly and professionally, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Follow up with potential clients to nurture leads, address objections, and encourage them to book our services for their children's events or photo sessions.
Collaborate with the photography team to understand the latest offerings, product updates, and photography trends to effectively communicate and upsell services.
Attend relevant industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings to network, generate leads, and increase brand awareness.
Maintain accurate records of all leads, contacts, and client interactions in the CRM system.
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics set by the company.
Continuously stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities and strategies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in a photography-related field or in selling services to the general public.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people of all ages, especially children.
Outgoing and energetic personality, comfortable with approaching strangers and engaging in conversations.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to convert leads into paying clients.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple leads and tasks simultaneously.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
Familiarity with photography concepts, styles, and equipment is desirable but not mandatory.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track leads effectively.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
