Job description
Heath Electrical Services is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing graphics. As a graphic designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create various design assets, including marketing materials, product packaging, website graphics, social media content, and more. You will be responsible for creating visually stunning designs that effectively communicate our brand message and captivate our target audience.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the marketing, product, and design teams to understand project objectives, requirements, and target audience.
· Create visually appealing and compelling designs for various platforms, including print, digital, and social media.
· Develop design concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives.
· Design and produce marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, banners, posters, and presentations.
· Create engaging graphics for website elements, social media posts, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
· Support the development of product packaging designs that reflect the brand's identity and resonate with consumers.
· Ensure all design assets are delivered on time, meeting quality standards and project requirements.
· Collaborate with external vendors, printers, and production teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of print materials.
· Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging design techniques, and software advancements to continually enhance design skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
· Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in a creative agency or in-house design team.
· Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design work across various mediums.
· Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
· Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition.
· Knowledge of current design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
· Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
· Detail-oriented with a strong sense of visual aesthetics and a keen eye for typography and imagery.
