Job Summary:

Performs general clinical and clerical duties to assist providers in patient care. Duties include clinical, laboratory, and phlebotomy services.

$1500 Sign On Bonus for full time employee. Paid after 90 days of employment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)

• Perform blood draws on patients for laboratory testing.

• Verify requested tests have been ordered and track results

• Provide patient education on lab test and schedule appointments.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following OSHA guidelines.

• Stock and order lab supplies such as needles, tubes, and vacutainers.

• Contact patients regarding genetic test results by telephone or mail.

• Maintain refrigerator, lab, and utility room temperature logs. Responsible for maintaining other logs such as the eyewash station, AED, autoclave, and cidex.

• Run controls on supplies such as pregnancy tests.

• Assist other staff, nurses, and providers as needed.
