Responsibilities
As a Trainee Resin Floor Layer, you will be an integral part of our installation team, working alongside experienced professionals to learn the art of resin floor installation. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Assisting senior floor layers in preparing work areas, including surface preparation, cleaning, and ensuring proper conditions for resin application.
Learning and implementing proper techniques for applying and spreading resin materials, including mixing, pouring, and leveling.
Gaining knowledge of different resin types and their specific applications.
Supporting the team in measuring and cutting materials accurately to fit project specifications.
Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
Developing an understanding of project plans and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of flooring installations.
Qualifications
No qualifications or experience is required. Full training will be provided with you working towards an NVQ level 2 course and a blue skilled worker CSCS card.
Requirements
No prior experience in resin floor installation is required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
A positive attitude and a desire to grow and develop in the field of resin floor installation.
Essential
Full UK Driving Licence required
Must be able to travel to our office base in Ripley, Derbyshire, England.
