Senior Sales Specialist

Job Description
As a Sales Specialist you will interact with new and existing customers, primarily by visiting to increase sales of the company's products by obtaining and up-selling orders, creating customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer's buying experience. You will focus on proactive selling techniques to add business or expand current book of accounts. You will collaborate with outside sales to ensure goals are being met.
Your Role
· Visit customers to understand sales needs, promote practical solutions and deliver an exceptional support experience
· Executes sales strategy and develops action plans for area of responsibility in line with strategic priorities
· Provide exception customer service in a solutions-oriented partnership utilizing our available services with the customers
· Provide technical sales support and identify business potential within accounts
· Ensures efficient geographical coverage and cross-selling opportunities to achieve full business potential
· Prioritize, direct and execute sales programs for the assigned market areas
· Maintain a dynamic customer list and ensure continuous follow up with customers to build relationships and generate new business
· Prospect for new business opportunities while managing existing customer base.
Your Skills
· 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the MRO, automotive or industrial markets.
· High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelors’ degree preferred
· Having a valid driver’s license, and a clear driver’s abstract
· Proven track record of success exceeding sales quotas and sales metrics
· Results-driven individual who takes initiative and accountability to continuously improve business outcomes
· Sales meeting planning/facilitation - presentations, product demonstration, etc.
· Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive decision-making
· Excellent computer skills (MS Applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Ability to self-manage time and prioritize workload
