Heartys of Peterborough are looking to recruit for an Experienced Sales Executive to join their small team on a permanent basis. We are a family ran business trading within the Peterborough area in excess of over 50 years and are looking to expand our small team for additional support. This is not just a typical salesperson role, we are looking for someone to fully encompass themselves into the business and provide support and management of key aspects of the business including advertising, marketing, sales and customer aftercare. Previous experience is imperative and a willing attitude to learn is essential.
Duties and responsibilities will include the following;
Advertising - To be able to advertise new stock arriving including uploading vehicle descriptions and responsible for video imagery/videos for prospective customers and website. To upload via our DMS system - Experience is preferred but full training can be provided.
Sales - From handling all incoming enquiries, contacting prospective customers and having a confident, willing approach to all leads. You will be responsible for arranging appointments through to finalising part exchange details, arranging vehicle finance and warranty products if applicable in a no-pressure, professional manner retaining customer satisfaction at all times.
Aftersales Care - You will be responsible for tracking the vehicles process following it's sale including any preparation required through to final handover of all vehicles including finance payouts and final customer payment and any further enquiries from the customer. You will have a duty of care and full responsibility from start to finish for all customers entering the showroom.
General showroom administration, driving and clerical tasks. We are a small team and everyone has a role to play. Your ability to demonstrate you are a team player and happy to support all staff members to ensure each task is completed to the highest standard is crucial.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
- Persuasive negotiation skills to close deals and achieve sales targets
- Self-motivated and driven to exceed goals
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
