As a company we pride ourselves in offering our exceptional, ‘search and find’ service for our wonderful care home, garden centre, nursery and restaurant customers.
We are busy. So we need someone to join our brilliant team to take up the position of Furniture & Equipment (F&E) Detective. You will possess great customer care skills, a determination to leave no stone unturned to find the best quality and price of whatever we are asked for (bedding, towels, glassware, ovens, Easter eggs, garden furniture and more!).
You will be outgoing and used to speaking to customers (as some of ours still don’t know about this side of our many services). You will deal with suppliers too, making sure the price we are offered is the best deal and checking thoroughly that it is!
The role is office based and proposed as full time but we would consider flexible hours for the right candidate.
As our F&E Detective you will move to be in charge of our Furniture & Equipment department but from the outset your duties will include:
· Responding speedily to requests from clients to supply a variety of furniture and equipment items.
· Providing a great service from quote to delivery with attentive customer care.
· Being proactive with our customer base to increase sales.
· The use of MSWORD and MSXL to complete a number of price-based tasks as well as ensuring price lists are maintained on our systems
· Introducing new customers to our shopping service
To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
· Previous customer service experience (desired);
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
· Strong IT and system skills including Microsoft Office;
· Strong analytical skills;
· Excellent telephone manner and listening skills;
· Problem-solving skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
