ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Structural Heart Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales revenue to exceed division priorities, define and develop new business opportunities that clearly reflect the company’s vision and priorities, and function in and contribute to overall team success. May provide clinical support during procedures at accounts as needed. Individuals should exhibit strong clinical excellence, stay current on products, programs, competitive knowledge, and be able to face program situations quickly, directly and without hesitation. Candidate should have experience in the hospital and office-based settings and be creative in problem solving. The Sales Representative will develop key relationships through frequent/routine customer visits, product demonstrations, product in-services, and procedural observation. Candidate will build and maintain constructive strategic relationships in key accounts and be able to take actions that are consistent with the stated organizational goals. Candidate will manage their territory with integrity and in accordance with our Code of Conduct.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Sells products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers and referral networks to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives assigned by company on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
- Develops and implements sales strategies by determining the relevant factors (e.g., product, competition, and pricing needs) of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company's products to appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
- Identify key referral networks for the Structural Heart therapy - from Electrophysiologists and Interventional Cardiologists to Primary Care Physicians. Develop and enhance these relationships through routine customer visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, procedural observation, trade show participation and problem resolution.
- Develops action plans (i.e., weekly, quarterly, monthly) by analyzing quarterly and monthly sales figures and reports identifying the needs of accounts and discussing issues with Regional Sales Manager to help the organization achieve its annual sales goals.
- Clinically will support procedures at accounts to gain insight into the specific nuances of each physician and each member of the lab staff.
- Establishes pricing packages by working with relevant BSC personnel to establish price points that address specific customer's needs while satisfying company guidelines and policies.
- Develops relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences, therapy awareness activities) to make new contacts in other departments within hospital and to identify key purchasing decision makers to facilitate future sales.
- Develops relationships with key referring physicians, external fellows, other key physicians to promote market development and growth.
- Educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals).
- Work with sales management to proactively identify strategic initiatives that improve the effectiveness of the area and organization.

- Bachelor’s degree required and 2+ years of successful sales and/or sales management experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills

- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, determined and goal oriented
- Must be able to work flexible hours and complete extensive training program.
