Sales Officer
Salary: £30,000 per annum plus Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Location: Westminster, London, SW1V 1DW

What will you be doing?
- Meet monthly sales targets set by line manager through consultation with the portfolio manager.
- Achieve a set of standard working KPIs set by line manager for New business & Portfolio Accounts.
- The role holder will need to communicate with the operations and customer support teams to ensure effective customer service for example - bin deliveries, service issues
- The role holder will be responsible for undertaking risk assessments/site surveys prior to sale, the operations and customer support teams would be reliant on this information to provide excellent customer service.
- Role holders are responsible for their own safety and security.
- The role holder has a responsibility to the drivers who rely on information provided by the role holder in the site survey to safely service the customer.
- The role holder is targeted with increasing market share within Westminster as per business requirements and for providing all the information needed to effectively carry out the work.
- To build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers, primarily SMEs that are not already Veolia customers.
- Role will include contact through door to door and telesales, the role holder needs to be able to form relationships quickly. The role holder will need to communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure that the customer can be set up quickly and receive the service they expect.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures for example the site survey process.
- Adherence to sales procedures for example Salesforce and completing electronic contracts - inputting daily activity and contracts; contractual documents such as service agreement and direct debits mandates.
- Following customer support process to ensure effective customer service and record keeping.
What are we looking for?
- Some sales experience for example telesales or cold calling.
- Good level of IT skills
- Previous experience using CRM systems
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Full Driving licence.
- Previous waste industry knowledge is desirable.
- Sales training is desirable.
