Job description
To provide general administrative duties, operating to defined procedures and systems of working. Understanding and resolving customer related problems and dilemmas, negotiating and agreeing actions and priorities.
Roles and Responsibilities
Ability to build and maintain excellent client relations- General Administration Duties
- Processing orders and following jobs through the Production to Despatch Process
- To ensure the availability of materials, repeats etc. prior to production to meet the agreed delivery date and order quantity.
- To ensure regular communication with customers on the status of orders placed, supplying schedules and stock information as required.
- To organise delivery using special transport facilities if required by the customer.
- In cases of customer complaint, initiate procedure for investigation and resolution; raise credit note if agreed with the customer.
- To provide information and assistance to the Sales team regarding customer issues, changes of personnel, trends, etc. in order to maintain and develop existing customer accounts.
Knowledge and Experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office e.g. Word & Excel- Proven ability to handle multiple customers whilst maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with both customers and suppliers
This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9.00AM-5.00PM, with a salary range of between £21,000.00 to £23,000.00 per annum depending on experience.
