The Role of Sales Manager:
- Growing and increasing sales in the branch's geographical area (Inverness, Skye, West and Northern areas).
- Continually identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
- Developing strong customer relationships to maximise the full potential of all accounts.
- Working as part of a tightly knit team to achieve high standards of business excellence.
Essential Sales Manager Skills:
- The willingness to Cold call on the telephone and in person with tenacity.
- The ability to approach companies direct, understanding how to spot a suitable target customer.
- The ability to confidently demonstrate sample products to potential clients.
- The ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
- The ability to independently plan, organise, and work to tight deadlines.
- To be smartly presented portraying a professional company image.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to demonstrate effective time management.
- Career focused, hardworking, and ambitious.
- Strong telephone skills.
- Positive, ambitious, and driven with excellent listening and communication skills.
- A valid UK driving licence.
Desirable Sales Manager Skills:
- Experience of the wholesale industry would be advantageous but not essential.
