Job description
Xpert Resourcing is working with a well-established client on the outskirts of Ely who is looking to add a Sales Manager to lead the Sales and Marketing Team. The role will require overseas travel to provide support to your own Accounts. Do you have previous Sales and Line Management experience with a mountain of ambition and tenacity, excellent communication skills and fantastic at building relationships? If so, then this is the role for you! You will be working along with the General Manager to produce an ambitious Sales Strategy looking for ways forward to increase sales.
Duties will include
- Produce an Annual Sales Strategy in conjunction with the General Manager
- Produce and drive forward quarterly sales and travel activity plans
- Identify new growth opportunities with new distributors and OEM Customers
- Review existing customer purchases to expand on sales and profitability
- Monthly reporting to Senior Leadership Team
- Devise regular communication strategies with the existing Sales Team for purposes of activity alignment
- Overseas travel
- Support of Sales Team
Experience/Skills Required
- Excellent understanding of international markets
- Commercially minded
- Strong knowledge of photonics industry (very desirable)
- Experience leading a Sales Team
- Organised and self-motivated
- Excellent communicational skills
- Enthusiastic and tenacious approach
Hours
Monday to Friday (flexible)
1 day hybrid will be considered
