Sales Manager - North

At Kaimann we are looking for a Sales Manager to work in ourgrowing and technical minded Sales team,helping to manage and develop sales of all Kaimann products within a defined area of the northern half of England and Scotland. The Sales Manager will aim to create strong partnerships with our broad range of customers utilising the Saint-Gobain attitudes and to work with colleagues across functions to help form and deliver the long term strategies for growth.

The Sales Managerwill report to the Business Director who is based in the Oldham Head office and will be part of a sales team of 4, covering the whole UK. The Sales Manager will be responsible for creating strong relationships by working collaboratively with new and existing distribution partners to develop the market/brand for Kaimann products and services within the segments refrigeration, HVAC, industry, OEM and Marine. What we’re looking for:

  • Strong business development and customer sales development background, with the ability to offer a consultancy service sales style providing technical solutions and project leadership
  • Highly organised, numerate with excellent analytical skills.
  • Previous National and Regional Account Management experience
  • Commercial Negotiation experience with a strong understanding and awareness of commercial aspects
  • Good Understanding of elastomer insulation materials and building materials industry
  • The ability to work in a structured and autonomous way with the ability to manage the variety in the role and the variety of customers / industries you will be targeting.

What you will be doing:

  • Deliver technical presentations and application benefits to specifiers and contractors to influence and win specifications to generate business opportunities for our distribution network.
  • Identify and quality opportunities and determine the potential for new product developments
  • Delivery of annual revenue and development of new target accounts within the geographical area
  • Customer and market insight: Continually communicates and seeks knowledge in order to improve both local market awareness and customer insight and ensuring the customer experience is continually improved
  • To ensure specialist Sub-Contractor & consultant relationships are strengthened and extended through influencing & facilitation of project specifications and technical support for elastomeric insulation.
  • Communication of key customer and market updates including completion of a monthly report detailing relevant quantitative and qualitative feedback for the area
