Job description
- Responsible for maintaining and updating our lead generation system.
- Following up and providing detailed updates on all tender and live projects.
- Following up and providing detailed updates on our current and prospective customers.
- Responding to customer inquiries and providing quotations in a timely manner.
- Securing new customers and orders.
- Trading within the market and reprice work where we’re uncompetitive.
- Gaining market intelligence and adding to our existing database.
- Seeking and establishing market knowledge, competitor activity, customer activity, and action in line with the commercial policy.
- Providing solutions for customers using internal and external sources.
- Completing all sales admin tasks designated by the line manager.
- Sharing joint responsibility in ensuring the company is renowned as the most customer-focused building materials supplier in the UK.
Schedule:
- This position is Monday to Friday.
- Shift times are 7:15 am to 16:15 pm & 8:00 am to 17:00 pm.
To be applicable, you must:
- Know how to use basic Office programmes.
- Be approachable and friendly towards customers and colleagues.
- Have the ability to build rapport.
- Have time management/prioritisation skills.
- Be punctual and motivated.
- Have a good attitude toward work.
- Training is provided, allowing you to feel confident with what is expected.
Wage:
- The salary for this position is between £24K to £27K based on experience.
- A bonus scheme is also made available that is attainable/reachable.
