We are recruiting a Head of Sales to lead the Sales team at Hyve Managed Hosting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting a sales strategy and building the existing sales team, supporting small to large businesses. The person should be excited by strategising, negotiating complex deals and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities.

What you will be doing:
- Create solutions to complex technology business problems/opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of customer needs
- Interacting with senior management, determining sales strategies, developing customer messaging plans and relationships, and applying industry-leading cloud transformation strategies and practices
- Directing and assisting the sales team in the preparation of proposals and presentations
- Managing the overall sales process, setting appropriate metrics for sales funnel management
- Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet sales objectives
- Land and expand: build process and funnel for manual top-down reach out, onboarding, activation, and expansion
- Support sales team on key deals and pipeline planning
- Providing timely feedback to senior management regarding sales performances
- Owning all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
- Work collaboratively across teams including Tech and Marketing
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of 6 years selling/closing deals in the professional services space in one or more of the following areas: Technology Services such as consulting and development services, Cloud enablement migration and modernization and Cloud managed services - with four of those years experience selling cloud services
- Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, and recommendations, and drive actions
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
