Green Sky is based in Calgary with more than 20 years of experience. We are looking for a self-directed and motivated individual with strong leadership skills to fill the position of Sales Manager.
In this position you will be required to be a Team Leader and have up to 5-10 Sales Representatives report directly to you. In this role you will have the flexibility to build and manage your own team and will involve duties like hiring, training, motivating, and overseeing your team.
The Sales Manager will also be responsible for organizing marketing campaigns in a direct to client retail sales environment. The primary focus will be to engage their Sales Team on door-to-door, cold call, building relationships, prospecting on social media with a secondary focus on training and assisting their Sales Team.
Qualifications:
· 5+ Years of experience as a sales manager.
· Strong Leadership Skills required.
· Able to teach others.
· Experience in construction is an asset.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Team player
· Strong customer focus
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Prospecting on the phone and online
· Solution oriented mindset.
· Planning and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
· Manage and Lead up to 10 people
· Hiring and vetting Sales Representatives
· Onboarding and training of Sales Representatives
· Responsible for the direction and performance of Sales Representatives.
· Tracking day to day processes are followed including coordination between Sales Representatives and client onboarding from sale to execution.
· Coordinate new initiatives and campaigns with the Sales Representatives.
· Conduct regular coaching with Sales Representatives to build motivation and selling skills.
· Identify and follow up on prospects and contacts.
· Demonstrate ability to interact with all company employees and contractors.
-Collect payments from customers.
