Sales Administrator

Location: Sheffield S9

Salary: £23,000 per annum

Working hours: 8:00am – 5pm Monday – Friday. Part time considered for the right candidate.

Our client are looking for a Sales Administrator to join their expanding team in their Sheffield office. They are looking for a self-motivated, confident individual who can work well as part of a team and also independently.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Data entry, retrieval and database maintenance.
  • Processing orders.
  • Arranging transportation, UK and international.
  • Dealing with incoming sales enquires
  • Speaking to customers and clients to answer queries and resolve issues.
  • Raising sales invoices.
  • Small aspects of credit control (chasing outstanding debtors).
  • Filing and archiving
  • Communication with various departments

Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organisational skills.
  • IT literate with good typing skills and confident using a range of programmes including email, word processors and spreadsheets.
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritise their workload effectively.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to issues.
  • Able to work with a team, take direction from others and collaborate effectively.

Experience and Education:

  • Customer service.
  • Knowledge of Xero desirable but not essential.
  • GCSEs in Maths & English or equivalent.
