Sales Manager
Permanent – Full time
We have an exciting opportunity for Sales Manager to join our successful Sales & Marketing team on a permanent basis.
The Role
You will develop and maintain strong relationships with key travel trade agents, working with them to maximise sales for ferry travel and support their marketing initiatives to help deliver their targets.
Develop and deliver sales account plans and contact strategies for key trade relationships.
Identify innovative commercial partnerships, including OTAs, discount partnerships, and other third-party retailers, that will further enhance the distribution network of our brand.
Conduct detailed analysis of monthly sales reports to ensure the full spectrum of performance is always accessible and easily communicable to other internal parties.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure trade partnerships have the required collateral to promote our product.
Support and grow our group business, working closely with our sales agents to maximise conversions, and improve overall sales.
Continue to help grow our tour operator business, Condor Breaks, by looking at ways to grow our market share, drive new business and develop sales opportunities through strong relationships with hotel partners. You will provide direct line management support to our Condor Breaks Sales Agents in Guernsey and Jersey.
What we're looking for...
As the successful candidate, you will be commercially astute and ensure Condor Ferries is appropriately represented within third party sales channels, including travel trade agents, online agents, and commercial partnerships.
You will be a logical thinker with excellent attention to detail and constantly review the competition and the travel industry to ensure we are at the forefront of consumer consideration to travel by sea, we’re competitive, and our proposition is presented strongly within the market.
You will have the ability to develop strong relationships with external stakeholders, and have experience in delivering third party sales targets against KPIs
Detailed knowledge of tourism or the coach tourism sector would be beneficial but not essential.

Important details to know:
· The intended location for this role is Condor House, Poole with some hybrid working.
· There will be a requirement for travel to Guernsey, Jersey, St Malo and Cherbourg.
