Job Title: Sales Manager – Premium / Luxury Car Dealership
Location: Aberdeen
Salary: Up to £46,000 basic salary + bonus – OTE Up to £85,000

Our client has a rare opportunity for a Sales Manager to join their Premium/ Luxury Car Dealership in Aberdeen. They are looking for a highly motivated and successful automotive professional who has proven experience managing a successful and driven sales team.
The Sales Manager must have the ability to understand the numbers and drive team performance using energy, skill and unbridled passion.
Sales Manager duties:
  • Achieves new sales and F&I commission target.
  • Develops sales action plans to ensure sales and profitability targets are achieved.
  • Formulates sales targets for each sales team member, supports and motivates them to achieve.
  • Works with Business Manager to maintain status as FSA approved advisor completing FSA requirements.
  • Manages all car stock, new sales, ensures profit is maximised and achieves an acceptable return on stock investment.
  • Ensures the sales team have full knowledge and understanding of product, promotional and marketing activities. Ensures team display all advertising and Point of Sale literature as directed by the manufacturer.
  • Consults with customers to establish their needs, resolves any complaints professionally and calmly
  • Reviews pricing policy, discounts and trade-in dealing to ensure profitability level is maintained.
  • Measures departmental sales performance, credit and finance commission, outstanding debtor information weekly and takes the appropriate action to ensures targets are being met.
  • Improves customer satisfaction by developing and implementing a strategy with the sales team.
To be considered for this role candidates must have experience within the Automotive industry within a Sales Manager role. However our client will also consider Sales Controllers/Business Managers who are ready for their next step and can demonstrate the key skills and attributes we are looking for. You will have strong leadership skills and be able to motivate a busy and successful team of sales advisors. You will also be passionate about their brand, dealership and delivering exceptional customer service to their guests.
What you will need:
  • Experience within the motor industry at Sales Management or a Sales Controller ready for the next step
  • Commercial awareness and financial analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Exceptional organisation and discipline.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to lead and manage the sales team.
