The Company:

A client is a franchise dealer providing exceptional vehicles and customer service to businesses and individuals throughout the South West. They are a leading supplier of commercial vehicles. Their knowledgeable team maintains the highest levels of professionalism, putting the customer’s needs at the forefront of everything they do.

The Role:

On behalf of our client we are seeking a Sales Administrator, based in Avonmouth, Bristol. In this role you will be responsible for supporting multiple team members with a variety of administration tasks which will inlcude workflow of the sales documentation, orders to suppliers, internal orders and supporting budgeted objectives.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Process new vehicle sales on the receipt of signed orders from the sales manager
  • Raise internal purchase orders for workshop preparation and chase completions
  • Raise eternal purchase orders to suppliers
  • Chase suppliers on behalf of the sales executives to ensure that work is carried out and completed in line with agreements
  • Liaise with all sales executives to keep them updated on the progress and current status of their vehicles
  • Ensure that invoices are raised in a timely manner
  • Liaise with the accounts department to ensure all invoices have been paid
  • Liaise with all relevant persons in regard to logistics and supply chain statuses
  • Update weekly reports
  • Manage vehicle records through to completion
  • Ensure ISO standards are adhered to
  • Register all vehicles
  • Embrace any additional duties
  • Attend all relevant training courses
  • Provide holiday cover

The Person:

For this role our client is looking for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic team player with the ability to work on their own initiative
  • Professional and organised
  • Good eye for detail
  • The ability to consult with customers, suppliers and manufacturers and all internal staff at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • A logical approach to problem-solving
  • Good general knowledge of business administration
  • An interest in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • A minimum level of GCSE in Maths and English
  • Fluent in English written and spoken
  • 2 years experience in an admin role

The Hours:

Monday – Friday

The Salary:

£25-£30,000

The Benefits:

22 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension scheme, Onsite parking

The Location:

Avonmouth, with car parking – 100% office based

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
