We’re now recruiting for a Sales Helpdesk Administrator to provide administration support to both our Sales and Fares Helpdesk Teams to allow us to meet our brands commitments to customer service and continue to maximise margins.
This would be an ideal role for someone with great attention to detail and customer focus, looking for their first role in the travel industry.
You can be based at our offices in Leyland, Kingston-upon-Thames. Or at our shop in central London.
Key Tasks
- Running reports, updating & managing spreadsheets for the impact on important booking updates
- Quality checking land only bookings
- Logging of corrupt bookings
- Supporting senior team members with accessing and making changes on airline portals
- Co-ordinating dates and actions for group bookings
- Fixing basic quality control issues such as missing standard remarks /transfer times/visa information and also collating issues for feedback to managers
- Reporting on profit/loss for out-of-date range (ODR) bookings
- Contributing to monthly fares newsletter and the aviation area of our internal Hub
- Actioning task inboxes for sales staff on annual leave
To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- A passion for travel
- GDS experience and/or travel industry experience preferable but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate on all levels, with good verbal & written English
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- IT literate – including a good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel
