Sales Executive
Responsibilities:
To achieve your set sales target by processing enquiries from clients (via phone, website, email and mail), involving locating and selling the ideal entertainment for clients, speaking with clients and artists to advise the best choice of entertainment and advising on best arrangements/schedules/technical requirements for a successful event, distributing promotional materials to clients, following up leads and promo materials sent, up selling our artists to clients, maximising the potential of each enquiry, maintain your client database and turning client enquiries into bookings using sales skills.
Issuing contracts and invoices to clients and artists for bookings and liaising with both as and when required to ensure a successful event and following up with taking payments.
Organising your time to effectively to deal with each aspect of your day-to-day duties, which will include but are not limited to: reviewing new enquiries and deciding on a course of action, checking and responding to voice mails, checking and responding to emails, calling clients, calling artists, sending quotes, promo materials, follow up responses to clients and artists, updating the online artist’s gig diary, organising, maintaining and managing your enquiry database using the methods demonstrated during your training, researching and recruiting new artists as and when required, issuing contracts and invoices.
Developing good working relationships with clients and artists to ensure repeat work and projecting a positive image of Warble Entertainment Agency Ltd. Distributing promotional materials to our previous clients should you feel they will book again or would require additional information about Warble Entertainment Agency Ltd.’s services.
To help other team members with bookings and enquires in order to reach the collective goal of the whole team, whilst remaining individually competitive. To be a mentor to newer members of the team and remain positive in difficult situations.
To provide cover whilst colleagues are away and also cover any previous employee bookings and enquiries to a high standard.
To notify the Artist Liaison team or senior staff of any new artists, as and when you see the need to do so to fulfil the requirements of a client or to fill gaps in our roster.
To ensure that your enquiry database is up to date at all times using the organisational methods demonstrated during your training and updating artist availability in the online gig diary as and when required.
Informing your direct manager immediately of serious problems with bookings or serious problems faced handling clients or with artists.
Bring new ideas or opportunities to the attention of your Manager and act on these ideas (with the consent of management) to bring new business to Warble Entertainment Agency Ltd or to better promote our services.
To cover the emergency phone on scheduled weekends usually around 1 weekend per calendar month. All equipment required to undertake this responsibility shall be provided and you will be expected to handle problems that arise using both your knowledge and the training provided. It is your duty, and the expectation of Warble Entertainment Agency Ltd’s customers, that the emergency phone is contactable 24 hours a day and after a message has been left that is deemed ‘an emergency’ the problem should be handled immediately.
As an Entertainment Agent your role will further be developed to encompass more responsibility with regard to specific artists. You may undertake the role of an account manager / main point of contact for acts or a corporate client as so selected by your supervisor and work towards building a greater relationship and understanding of the act/performance itself.
