As an Account Development Representative, you are the initial voice of Prophix for the majority of our future customers. In partnership with Sales and Marketing team members, you will be interacting daily with our targeted prospective customers to ensure they have a world class experience with Prophix.
We are looking for competitive, self-motivated, intelligent, likeable people to be the face of Prophix. Reporting to the Manager, Inside Sales you will continue to develop your skills in communication, presentation, organization, and negotiation.
What You Will Do
- Manage Marketing Qualified Accounts by engaging with all key stakeholders in the buying process and nurturing contacts to produce booked and confirmed meetings for Account Executives
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm with our prospects
- Personalize outreach based on the account and contact’s unique interests to improve engagement rates and boost number of meetings scheduled, including strategic use of tactics like direct mail, gifting, etc.
- Translate online digital behaviour into opportunity insights
- Maintain weekly sales forecasts and achieve quarterly targets
- Perform outbound calls and outreach through prospecting tools to build stakeholder engagement
- Continuously increase your sales skills to move forward in your career at Prophix
- Support field marketing event attendance and follow up via outbound efforts
- Collaborate with team members to share and learn best practices around Prophix’s products and services

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in consistently achieving goals
- Comfortable speaking to C-Suite execs, being able to navigate through multiple influencers in an organization
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a start-up-like experience
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Desire to win and find motivation in temporary setbacks. Failures are learning opportunities
- You don’t believe in settling, and you find ways to overachieve and keep improving
- A desire and ability to learn is apparent, and always hungry for more
- Passionate about exceeding expectations while putting the customer first
- You love connecting with people online, on the phone, and face-to-face
- You love and appreciate technology… talking about it, showing it, learning it
- Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Have a successful track record of achievement as a Business Development Representative (or similar customer facing role), or Prophix Consultant
- Experience working with Finance and business leaders is a plus
- Finance and Accounting background, knowledge, and experience are beneficial
- University education is preferred
