Please note this is a dual role and we are looking to recruit a caretaker to work alongside this post. This will be for 3.5 hrs a week - established part time - band c point 2 - £10.79 per hr
We have an opportunity for you to join the team working at one of our Primary schools where your dedication to the role will enhance the children’s learning environment. Hunton and Arrathorne School, between Bedale and Catterick is a friendly family orientated school where the children learn about good behaviour and respect to others.
Working for NYCC as a Cleaning Assistant, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings. Full training will be provided and there is flexibility over your start and finish time. The earliest start time would be 16.00 but there is flexibility over this with the latest time being 19.00. You would work 1.48 hrs per night. Total hours would be 9 hours per week over 5 days. No weekend work! For this you will be paid £10.60 per hour.
In addition to this we can offer the additional Caretaker responsibilities of locking the site after cleaning, setting the alarm and ensuring the site is fully secure. For this we will pay you an additional £10.79 per hour based on 3.5 hrs per week.
