We are an asset success platform specialising in battery energy storage, and we want to be the Bloomberg of energy as the globe transitions to net zero. Why we need you

We are looking for a smart and autonomous Sales Development Representative to join us and contribute to our ambitious growth plans. This is an exciting time for you to join: we are growing like never before! This role can be based in either our London or Birmingham office.


What you’ll do

  • Generate demand, interest, and excitement for our products while partnering to create a steady pipeline of business, acting as the first point of contact for all sales efforts.

  • Prospect and develop leads, generating conversations from inbound interest and outbound outreach and convert into qualified opportunities for our Account Executive team.

  • Book outbound meetings through cold calls, emails, social outreach, networking with ideal-fit customers, effectively showcasing Modo’s products.

  • Deliver relevant marketing content to prospects via both in-person and virtual events to generate demand.

  • Manage and prioritise your time to consistently achieve your targets.


We’d love to hear from you if you

  • Have previous Sales / Business Development experience as part of a SaaS or B2B company and have a desire to build a career in sales.

  • Are comfortable generating your own pipeline through outbound sales and cold calling and setting up great foundations with our potential customers.

  • Show curiosity to get to the bottom of prospects’ challenges to solve them whilst also understanding our products and industry better.

  • Are motivated to work in a fast paced startup environment that is ever evolving.

  • Can bring creativity and personality to your approach with a hustle mindset to achieve results.
