Job description
About the role
We are recruiting for an ambitious Graduate Trainee Chartered Accountant to join our Corporate Services department. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain skills, knowledge and expertise in a busy firm of Chartered Accountants.

The successful applicant will work, with full supervision and support, primarily in our corporate services department on audit, accountancy and tax assignments. The work, which will be both in our offices and at clients’ premises, will meet the Practical Work Experience requirements for eventual application for membership of the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). Over a 3 year period we give paid study leave to attend a private specialist accountancy school for tuition prior to the ICAEW exams.
Applicants will need to have a history of good academic results and be looking to achieve at least a 2.1 degree. At interview they will need to demonstrate that they understand the commitment needed to train and study for this demanding professional qualification. Background information can be obtained from the website of the ICAEW. A driving licence and use of a car are desirable though not absolutely essential.
