Permanent Lead Generation Specialist/Sales Development Representative required for Dunmurry.
Job Summary:
The Lead Generation Specialist/SDR will work along with the sales and customer services teams and will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging with potential customers including qualifying them as leads for the sales team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a goal-oriented mindset.
Duties will include:
- Research and identify potential leads through various channels, including online research, cold calling, email campaigns and social media.
- Contact and engage with potential leads to introduce company products, understand their needs, and assess their interest /fit as potential customers.
- Utilise effective communication and questioning techniques to gather relevant information and qualify leads based on predetermined criteria.
- Create and maintain an accurate and up-to-date lead records in the CRM system, including all communication and interactions with prospects.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine lead generation strategies and campaigns.
- Follow up with leads and schedule appointments to further qualify and convert them into opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to better position company products/services during lead interactions.
- Continuously improve techniques and contribute to the growth /optimization of the lead generation process.
- All associated duties to fulfill the role.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven work experience as a Lead Generator, Sales Development Representative, or similar role in a sales or marketing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with potential customers.
- Strong sales acumen and the ability to identify and qualify potential leads effectively.
- Proficiency in using CRM software to manage lead data and track interactions.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with sales and marketing techniques, including outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
Hours of work:
- Mon - Thurs 8.00 am - 4.30 pm & Fri 08.00 am - 13.30 pm
- Mon - Wed 07.30 am - 17.15 pm & Thurs 07.30 am - 17.45 pm (4 day week)
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 + bonus
