Job Tile: Sales Order Entry Clerk Location: India Mill, Darwen Job Type: Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week over a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday Salary/Hour Rate: Competitive based on skills, experience, and relevant qualifications Here is what you can expect to be doing: We are looking for a sales order entry clerk that prepares and processes shipping documents, invoices, and contacts, tracking procedures to ensure a smooth workflow. Order processing: receive and review sales orders from customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information. Data Entry: Enter relevant details into the companys sales order system, including product codes, quantities, prices, and customer information. Order Verification: Communicate with relevant departments or sales representatives for any discrepancies. Documentation: prepare and maintain accurate sales order records, invoices, and related documents. Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer service, and shipping departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and delivery processes. Reporting: Generate and analyse sales order reports to track order trends, identify potential issues, and suggest improvements. Compliance: Ensure all sales orders adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. A few things about you: Self-motivated and proactive Organisational skills Excellent attention to detail is the key to this role Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal When you are working: 4-day week Monday to Thursday 07:15 am to 5:00 pm totalling 37 hours weekly. Overtime is available from Friday to Sunday at premium rates of pay.
