The Rennia Group is seeking experienced Charter Sales Associates to join our fast-growing team. As a Charter Sales Associate, you will work on a team responsible for all sales transaction aspects. Client-centered customer service and an understanding of Part 135 Charter Operations are essential to success as a sales team member. This position encompasses aspects of Inside Sales, Owner Services, and Charter Scheduling disciplines, offering our clients a team-centered approach to meeting their aviation needs. This position will be in direct contact with our charter and private aviation industry colleagues as well as our highly successful, high net-worth clients and their representatives. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment are essential for success. Immediate response to client requests, accuracy, and attention to detail are of the utmost importance.
Essential Functions:
- Respond to aircraft charter quote requests with accurate pricing in a timely and professional manner, in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Generate new business leads by developing relationships with brokers and maintaining prospect lists
- Actively search aircraft charter boards and determine if the current location of the company aircraft would meet the needs of the client
- Outsource flights when company aircraft are not available to meet customer requirements and ensure the trip is profitable
- Assist with client requests such as arranging hotel accommodations, catering, and ground transportation to ensure a flawless flight experience Exercise discretion in handling customer requests and use discernment in resolving any issues that arise
- Ensure all pre-trip policies and company and FAA regulations have been completed prior to departure
- Follow up with clients post trip to ensure satisfaction in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of (2) years proven experience in a sales environment or similar role.
- Strong desire to succeed in a commission driven position
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to analyze and problem solve in a fast pace environment
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Strong Computer Literacy
- Ability to stay focused for long period of times
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a remote team sales environment
- Professionally assertive sales attitude, seeking charter sales opportunities instead of passively waiting for inquiries
- General knowledge of geography, aviation meteorology, customer service, and corporate aircraft types and performance
- Exceptional communication, writing, and teamwork skills
- Advanced in composing, typing, and proofing electronic material, establishing priorities & deadlines
- Ability to work as a team member while meeting individual performance goals
- Ability to foster relationships easily
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and demonstrate the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and directives as needed
- Proactive and creative problem-solving ability
- Situational awareness & attention to detail
- Desire to continually improve and learn
- We are a 24/7 operation meaning some availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays will be required
