Job description
This role is based out of the photo studio in our North Vancouver office and is expected to be performed on-location. Some remote work may be possible depending on photo shoot schedules and workload. This is to be discussed with the Manager, Studio Operations.
If you were the Brand Studio Producer now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Coordinating and managing daily photo studio productions from pre-production to final asset delivery
- Acting as the main point of contact for photo studio asset requests and production status
- Managing invoicing, logistics, production spends and usage agreements for daily photo studio shoots
- Working with cross-functional teams to track changes in product drops and update Studio team and schedules accordingly
- Working closely with Brand Sample Specialist and Stylists to create photo shoot shot lists
- Maintaining inventory of studio equipment and manage maintenance and repairs
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
- Ensuring all required photo studio assets are delivered on-time and in coordination with seasonal product drops
- Supporting with the implementation of evolved assets and art direction into photo studio production
- Supporting the Manager, Studio Operations with refining photo studio processes and workflows
Are you our next Brand Studio Producer?
- You have 3+ years experience in ecommerce production
- You have 4+ years experience in ecommerce industry
- You have a college or Bachelors degree in a related field
- You have previous experience in a fast paced, high-volume production environment
- You have experience with production management systems or software
- You have experience with budgeting/invoicing software
- You are comfortable with Microsoft Excel
- You are a natural leader who can balance autonomy and collaborating with a team
- You are highly organized and detail oriented
- You have strong written and spoken communication skills
- You have a valid BC driver’s license
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity and change
- You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
