Job Summary:
As an Associate within the Data and Analytics Sales team, you will responsible for selling both evaluated pricing and analytics from PricingDirect, a wholly-owned subsidiary of J.P. Morgan, providing independent, reliable valuations across 40 fixed-income and derivative asset classes and fixed-income indices from J.P. Morgan’s award-winning Global Index Research Group.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will work with clients and prospects to gain a deep understanding of their business needs
- You will learn all aspects of the Client acquisition process from prospecting and lead generation to closing business and building and managing strong relationships with both new and existing clients
- You will work with a variety of financial institutions both buy-side and sell-side as well as custodians and fund administrators
- You will arrange and hold regular visits alongside our Pricing Direct and Index product partners to pitch to existing and prospective Clients our latest offerings
- You will assist in establishing and executing a sales pipeline strategy in partnership with the broader Sales team
- You will collaborate closely with the Pricing Direct evaluator team and Index researchers to understand upcoming product launches and opportunities arising from recent market developments
- You will perform competitor analysis and keep up to date with benchmark industry trends (ESG, Climate, ETFs, Private Placements)
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Previous experience within financial services working with Data & Analytics services
- Experienced professional with previous exposure to both buy-side and sell-side institutions will be a big advantage
- Previous experience with senior stakeholder management, including presentations to C-level executives and Board members
- Familiarity with both Fixed-Income and derivatives products
- Strong established ability to cultivate relationships
- The ideal candidate has a strong intellectual curiosity, a high degree of organization and attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under high pressure situations with the appropriate degree of urgency
