Skyview Systems is a weather technology company supplying products both to home users and commercial customers to help them monitor the environment.
Our E-commerce Department now spans both homeware and gifting through our ClimeMET brand and Not on the High Street store, and since acquiring Russell Scientific Instruments, we also provide precision meteorology equipment for industry. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, resourceful and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our busy team. This role would suit a hands-on multi-tasker with a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order processing, including taking telephone orders, packing and dispatch (for Shopify, Amazon and Not on the High Street)
- Providing after sales services, including managing reviews, returns, repairs and exchanges
- Providing customer services via telephone and email including technical support
- Stock management, including stock counts and stock replenishment
- Assisting in product personalisation
- Assisting in product calibration
- Making up stock including labelling boxes, assembling parts etc.
- Basic reporting such as sales figures, returns data and stock levels
- Providing a range of administrative duties to support the Ecommerce Director, the wider Skyview office. Duties to include but not limited to cleaning, answering the telephone, purchasing, post duties, health and safety responsibilities
- May be called upon for additional training to provide First Aid or Fire Warden duties where necessary
- Supporting other departments as required
- Representing Skyview Systems and helping us to implement our ISO 9001: 2015 company objectives company objectives and green policy
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Meticulous and organised with a passion for a high level of accuracy
- Self-motivated and able to work as an individual and as part of a team
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint
- Retail and/or ecommerce beneficial
- Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
- Approachable, friendly to support the wider team
- Full training provided
Hours of work:
* 37.5hrs per week (1hr lunch) / 9-5.30pm
* Office-based in our Sudbury offices.
Salary: £22k
