IKEA Greenwich are looking to hire general store assistants, which means you will be working in various areas across the store supporting our customers to have the best shopping experience possible. The roles include warehouse, market hall or checkouts!! If you like to have variety in your day to day, then this is the role for you.

We call this a multi-skilled co-worker.

Start Date 4th July 2023

WHAT WE OFFER

• £11.95 from per hour
• Living Wage Foundation Employer
• Working 16 hours per week, 4 days from 7.

We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, this role will require availability to work during the day, late evenings, and full weekends. All our part time co-workers will receive 1 weekend off in 4.

• Flexibility on availability to be discussed during interviews

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

MARKETHALL
We are looking for someone with a 'can do attitude', who can multi-task, be cost conscious and have a passion for being a part of something bigger. Responsible for keeping the store, tidy, priced and full and having our customers at the heart of what we do.

CHECKOUTS

• You aim to create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again over time.
• Build loyalty by listening to our customers & using your knowledge of IKEA product range offer informed solutions.
• You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
• Provide an efficient and accurate checkout/returns experience in the store while working with daily and weekly service targets to drive service delivery.

WAREHOUSE

• All general warehouse roles from picking, replenishment and goods receiving
• Physically active role, responsible for health & safety within the warehouse
