Full Time Hornchurch, England 11968 - 19947 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

HSL are a proud Yorkshire-based family business, with 53 showrooms across the UK. For 55 years, our craftsmen and women have lovingly handcrafted chairs, sofas and beds that make a real difference to the wellbeing of our customers. Whilst we have grown over the years, we have always had the same aim at our core; to improve the way people sit, and in turn help them to lead happier and healthier lives.

At HSL, we do things differently.

We believe that furniture should make you feel good. That’s why our award-winning range of feel good furniture is specifically designed around the body and comes in different sizes to fit each unique individual. We use our exclusive chair fitting service to help us personalise and enhance the comfort of our customers, handcrafting furniture that ultimately improves their overall wellbeing.

We are proud to have a personalised approach to style, too. We offer a wide range of beautiful collections to suit all tastes, with a wealth of luxurious fabrics and sumptuous leathers to choose from.

Our commitment to providing a world-leading customer experience sits at the heart of everything we do. It is no coincidence that we have been ranked the top furniture retailer on Trustpilot by our very own customers.

We are looking for a Sales Consultant for our Romford showroom who can consistently deliver this exceptional level of personalised service, introducing feel good furniture to our customers and in turn improving their wellbeing.

Location: HSL Romford, 270 Hornchurch Road, Roneo Corner, Hornchurch, Romford RM11 1PZ

Hours: 21-35 hours per week

Salary: From £11,968 to £19,947 per annum

Vacancy closing date: 20/03/2023

A day in the life of an HSL Sales Consultant:

You’ll be sharing your passion for and knowledge about the wellbeing benefits of feel-good furniture either by visiting our customers in the comfort of their own homes as part of our Home Visit service, or at our Romford Showroom.

You will be responsible for leading our customers through our exclusive chair fitting service, enabling them to find the perfect furniture for them. You will be warm and patient in your delivery, tailoring your language and approach to each unique customer to ensure that they are properly supported with the optimum level of comfort. Expert training will be provided to ensure you are well-informed and confident to provide this unique service.

You’ll use your eye for detail to assist our customers in creating their dream furniture. This includes advising on fabrics, leathers and personalisation details which will make their furniture not only feel good, but look good too.

You will help to keep our beautiful showroom, products and uniforms looking their best by ensuring they are clean, fresh, and welcoming. You’ll also use your wonderful people skills to help to create a positive environment in store. Creating a feel good atmosphere is essential to fostering our wonderful company culture, and ensuring our customers feel welcome.

Finally, you’ll process customer orders accurately, ensuring that their feel-good furniture is crafted to their specification, and arrives exactly as they imagined it.

Our stores are open every day, so it’s important to have flexibility to work during the weekends as well as weekdays.

The ideal candidate:

Whatever your previous work experience, we value your individual personality above all else. If you have relevant experience with helping customers find the right purchase, that’s wonderful, but even if you haven’t we’d still love to hear from you if you think that you are the right fit for us.
