Sales Assistant
Location: 1 Marine Court, Marina, St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN38 0DX
Salary: From £12,209 to £12,348 per annum
Hours: 21-35 hours per week

We are looking for a Sales Assistant for our Hastings showroom who can deliver an exceptional level of personalised service, introducing feel good furniture to our customers and in turn improving their wellbeing.
A day in the life of a Sales Assistant.
Overview of position
On a daily basis you will be supporting customers in the following ways.
- Offering a fantastic service from the start. This includes opening doors for customers and offering refreshments. If the weather is bad, you’ll be greeting them at their car with an umbrella.
- Sharing knowledge about wellbeing benefits of feel-good furniture.
- Guiding customers through our Exclusive Chair Fitting service, enabling them to find the perfect furniture for them.
- Using your eye for detail to assist the customer in creating their dream furniture, including selecting fabrics, leathers and personal details which will make their furniture not only feel good but look great too.
- You will help keep showrooms, uniforms and products looking their best by ensuring they are clean, fresh and welcoming.
- Ensuring that customers are happy by creating a welcoming and friendly space.
- Processing customer orders accurately to ensure that their feel-good furniture is crafted to their specification and arrives exactly as they imagined.
Experience / skill required.
- Experienced within retail sales - desirable.
- Customer service or customer facing experience - desirable.
- Attention to detail.
- Friendly, welcoming and caring attitude.
- Ability to complete a sales order.
- As the role is customer facing DBS check will apply.
- Our showrooms are open every day, so it is important to have flexibility to work during the weekends as well as weekdays.
