We are now recruiting Christmas Customer Advisors for our Norwich, Chapelfield store.

We are looking for candidates to start with us from September onwards. We have a variety of shifts available, which may include weekends.

The exact shift patterns will be discussed at interview.

Christmas Customer Advisor

Joining us as a Christmas Customer Advisor is a great opportunity, whether it’s your first job and you’re looking to gain some valuable experience, or you have experience with retail and you’re looking for a new challenge.

Whilst this is a temporary contract, there could be the potential for a permanent role later depending on the opportunities in your local area, so it could be the start of a new career with us.

About the role

Christmas in Boots is our most exciting time of the year, and it can be very busy, so we’ll provide you with all the training and support you need to help you be at your best.

You will work onsite and report into the Assistant or Store Manager and your role could be to help on the tills, advise our customers, or work in our back shop. You will also:

  • Help our customers: whether that’s answering questions and giving great advice on our fantastic gift, showing where a product is or simply offering a basket
  • Help our stores run smoothly: working with us at Christmas is a great experience and there is always lots to do, so it’s important we make sure it goes smoothly. This could look like ensuring we have the right products displayed on the shop floor, providing a great service on our tills, or helping with our stock in in the stock rooms
  • Work with other members in the team to ensure that the store is always presentable and provide a store everyone can be proud of
  • Work as a team to solve any issues quickly and support the store’s daily operational activities
What you’ll need to have

Full training is provided for this role, and we are looking for people who:
  • Excel in a varied environment, working at pace
  • Communicate and listen effectively
  • Enjoy working as part of a team, promoting a collaborative team dynamic
  • Know that the little things make the biggest difference for customer interactions
  • Desire to be a proud brand ambassador for Boots and help our customers find the best products for them
It would be great if you also have:
  • Experience providing customer care and delivering great customer service
