We have a fantastic opportunity available for a dedicated part time Sales Assistant to work alongside the Shop Team at our Charity Shop in Harwood store based in Bolton, BL2 3HN. You will work 8 hours per week and receive a competitive hourly rate of £9.50 p/h (3,962 p/a, pro rata of FTE) plus excellent benefits package which includes: -

What will you do as our Sales Assistant?
- Achieve maximum sales at all times.
- Deliver and maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Ensure high standards of merchandising and cleanliness are maintained throughout the shop.
- Support the shop/deputy manager to actively promote the Gift Aid scheme adhering to the policies, work instructions and HMRC guidelines.
- Ensure all stock is consistently priced in line with policy.
- Ensure there are adequate stock levels on the shop floor and that stock is rotated according to company guidelines.
- Assist in the day to day supervision of volunteers.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of volunteers.
Our ideal Sales Assistant:
- Will ideally have previous retail experience and experience of cash handling
- Have knowledge/experience of administrative duties
- Excellent customer service skills
- Be a team player with good organisational skills
- IT literate and numerate, plus good communication skills
