Members of the Sales Assistant/Assistant Manager Team at Yogoo! Natural Frozen Yogurt will be employed on a full-time basis and be responsible for the successful day-to-day running and operations of the company’s frozen yogurt outlet in The Oracle Shopping Centre, Reading.
The team will be instrumental to establishing Yogoo! Natural Frozen Yogurt as the leading premium frozen yogurt brand through their customer-centric, people-first approach to work, professionalism and the delivery of outstanding customer experience. These qualities and abilities are of key importance to the success and future growth of our employees and Yogoo! as a brand.
The Sales Assistant/Assistant Manager shall be required to undertake a number of key roles and responsibilities including some basic management duties. A person specification sheet with all essential and desirable experience, knowledge and skills is also provided though Yogoo!’s co-founders will equally give importance to soft (inter-personal) skills and abilities of candidates, e.g. willingness to learn, passion for personal development and self-growth as part of the selection process.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Opening and setting up of the frozen yogurt outlet in preparation for trading including the preparation of fresh, daily-made natural frozen yogurt mixture and a range of toppings and sauces, cleaning of all surfaces and display area
- Procurement of fresh goods and ingredients incl. fresh milk and yogurt, fruits and other toppings to support the smooth day-to-day operations of the store
- Stock check and preparation of order sheet for yogurt ingredients and toppings to be ordered for the day and communicated to store manager in the morning
- Preparation of smoothies, Belgian and Hong Kong-style waffles together with other products in the menu of Yogoo! Natural Frozen Yogurt
- Serving customers through adopting a proactive and efficient customer-centric approach
- Contributing to the increase of sales and performance of the frozen yogurt outlet through the delivery of excellent customer experience
- Ensuring that the frozen yogurt outlet is maintained in professional manner and all Yogoo! products are in the spotlight at all times
- Ensuring that the frozen yogurt machine(s) and topping containers are consistently topped up with mixture and toppings to facilitate the smooth operations and sales of the outlet
- Servicing and cleaning the frozen yogurt machine and other kiosk equipment such as smoothie blender (Every 3 days)
- Cleaning of the frozen yogurt outlet including worktops, topping display area, kitchen area, fridges and other storage facilities (Daily)
- Maintaining high levels of food hygiene in accordance with Yogoo!’s best practice and training guidelines (Daily)
- Daily checks of and maintenance of records of the temperature of the frozen yogurt machine and fridges (Daily)
- Daily checks of and maintenance of records related to the hygiene and cleanliness of the frozen yogurt outlet and all the equipment (Daily)
- Cash handling and registration of purchases in the Point of Sales system
- Involvement in marketing and promotion activities such as the handing out tasters and free topping vouchers to potential customers
- Concluding daily shifts and cash handling through the Point of Sales system
- Closing of the frozen yogurt outlet and cleaning
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £20,000.00-£31,500.00 per year
