The role…
The role of Sales Advisor is really important to us. You will be responsible for sourcing, acquiring, supporting through our credit process, confirming the delivery of card orders and onboarding your customers.
Our Fuel division is where the company started over 30 years ago selling diesel to trucking customers under the UK Fuels brand. The business now spans across 18 countries and is one of the largest resellers for many of the worlds Major Oil Companies as well as having an extensive own brand network throughout Europe.
Our customers include nearly every type of business from very small SMEs to major Truck, Van and Car fleets and everything in between. Our extensive card options mean that users can choose the best network and pricing options to suit their needs.
We would love to welcome you to our Glasgow office in Bellshill through the hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Location: Strathclyde Business Park, Bellshill, ML4 3PE
Salary: Up to £25,000 basic plus commission. OTE of £40,000. Commission payable from the first month.
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30am-17:00pm (no weekends, evenings or bank holidays)
What would your day look like as a Sales Advisor?
Meaningful conversations by phone supplying information to support how our customers buy fuel and the benefits we offer- Sourcing businesses individually and through company lead generators
- Cold calling and creation of meeting opportunities verbally
- Exploring potential customer needs and requirements for our other products and services
- Managing your sales pipeline (with our support and training) and learn to review your performance through the sales cycle *You will be fully supported in training and development opportunities to meet your targets*
- Agile approach to providing feedback on lead provided by marketing in order to adapt their campaigns
- Regular updates with your line manager and support structure on KPIs and how we can best support your development
What do we expect of you?
Great communication skills through the internal team, management team and external potential and current clients- Driven approach to meet and exceed targets
- Enthusiasm for developing your existing skills and learning about our suite of products and services to add value to your conversations
- Display agility to be flexible, open to feedback and new ways of working across client relationships and the internal team
- Organisational skills and excellent attention to detail, as you will be monitoring and managing your sales pipeline and obtaining accurate, in-depth information from and about your prospects.
- Sales experience in any sector would be beneficial but not essential
