Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and management for the Business and IT departments, ensuring effective curriculum planning, delivery, and assessment.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching and learning strategies to engage and inspire students.
- Lead and support a team of dedicated teachers, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Promote strong links with industry partners and develop opportunities for work experience and real-world applications of Business and IT concepts.
- Monitor student progress, track attainment, and implement intervention strategies where necessary to support student achievement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Business, IT , or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Business and/or IT at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire both students and staff.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in Business and IT.
- Passion for education, with a commitment to providing a high-quality learning experience for students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
