Prince William County is seeking data-oriented and outcome-driven candidates for the Community Safety Administrator of our Office of Community Safety - a newly created program in Prince William County! The ideal candidate will be skilled in data analysis, project management and community safety / outreach programs.
About this role:
In this role, you will report to the Director of the Office of Community Safety. You will assist in the development of community safety initiatives, then be tasked to analyze the effectiveness of those initiatives, and related policies and procedures. You will monitor programs for consistency and compliance with fiscal rules and regulations; assist in the selection, development and retention of staff; be responsible for overall Office operations and have a key role in the success of the Community Safety Initiative (CSI). Minimum Requirements:
We require a high school diploma or G.E.D. and 7 years of related experience.
Preferences:
We seek a candidate with a Master's degree and three (3) years of project management, data analysis, community safety or engagement experience with a “track record” of working with data-based or data-informed programs. The ideal candidate will be politically astute, yet able to be apolitical in a highly political environment. We seek a creative and skilled problem solver, with a commitment to advancing equitable, inclusive and data-informed community safety solutions.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, with flexibility required to attend evening meetings and occasional weekend events.
Special Requirements:
The selected candidate will be required to pass a Criminal History Check, Sex Offender Registry Check and a DMV records check.
Starting Salary Range: $88,939.50 - $118,862.25/yr.

This is an exempt, non-bargaining position.
