LOCATION: Broughton
Located on the North Wales / Cheshire border, Broughton is the largest Airbus plant in the UK and focuses primarily on the manufacture of wings for the Airbus family of aircraft.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Assembly Technology team at Broughton as Safety Engineer . Part of the wider Manufacturing Engineering community, you will provide support to Leaders / Engineers in the identification and resolution of work-related hazards for Assembly Technology (predominantly drilling & fastening equipment).
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
Support local management, enabling them to ensure appropriate risk controls are in place, work-related incidents (from near miss to lost time injury, environmental escapes) are investigated effectively and that specialist support is requested as required
Provide direction to the operational management and local ‘safety support teams’ on H&S requirements in relation to industrial processes, national laws and regulations relating to the workplace
Promote Health & Safety topics at the workplace throughout the organisation at all levels, ensuring availability of the relevant training, awareness campaigns and EHS inductions
ABOUT YOU
NEBOSH certificate/IOSH managing safety, minimum
Previous experience in Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of PUWER / CE marking / Machinery
Good knowledge of H&S requirements in relation to industrial processes, national laws and regulations relating to the workplace
