Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse who would like to develop their existing knowledge and skills in safeguarding. We are inviting applications for a practitioner to join the integrated Safeguarding and 0-19 team in Sunderland. The Safeguarding strategy post is a role which provides practitioners with opportunities to widen their knowledge and skill base supported by a tailored preceptorship package and both the safeguarding and 0-19 team. This post does not require a SCPHN qualification.

Our innovative School Nursing service is integrated with the Safeguarding team and Health Visiting Team, this has provided opportunities for specialist focus to improve the outcomes of Children, Young People and Families. The teams all work together to reduce duplication and to improve the experience of children and families.
