Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with significant experience of safeguarding children and adults, to join the Community Safeguarding team and the Sheffield Safeguarding Hub. The latter includes statutory partners such as Children's Social Care; South Yorkshire Police; Health and other partner agencies.
The Safeguarding Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with the health team to provide daily health contribution in the Safeguarding Hub, in line with related procedures and protocols. Other aspects of the Safeguarding Nurse Practitioner's role will be to support the Community Safeguarding team with delivery of safeguarding advice; safeguarding training and contribution tosingle and multi-agency audits.
The successful candidate will need to be a car owner with a clean driving license and be able to travel across the city as required.
