What You’ll do (the role)


OVERVIEW

As a Product Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing product data, conducting market research, and providing valuable insights to drive product development and decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, designers, and sales & marketing professionals. Your expertise and analytical skills will contribute to optimising our product portfolio, enhancing user experiences, and driving business growth.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform data analysis to evaluate product performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for product enhancements and optimization.
  • Conduct market research, including competitor analysis, customer surveys, to gain insights into customer needs, preferences, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with product managers to define product goals, KPIs, and success metrics, and track progress towards these objectives.
  • Generate comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate product performance, user behaviour, and market trends to stakeholders.
  • Monitor product launches, conduct post-launch evaluations, and provide actionable recommendations for product improvements based on user feedback and performance data.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product analytics and market research, and share knowledge with the team.

Who we’re looking for


KNOWLEDGE

  • Proven experience as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a technology-driven company.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, statistical modelling, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of product management methodologies, Agile development practices, and UX/UI principles.
  • Familiarity with market research techniques, including customer surveys, and competitor analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner to diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Passion for technology, product development, and creating exceptional user experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus
