About the role

As the Digital Marketing Specialist within Optimised, you will be a part of the Marketing team. Responsible for day-to-day deliverables of digital marketing; you will collaborate with both the Marketing and People teams to ensure digital content delivers on agreed objectives. This role requires skills with social media, communications, editing, data tracking and analysis.

What you'll actually do

  • Drive engagement both internally and externally, via social media and our internal communications channel; working closely with internal stakeholders to develop content, for the purpose of talent acquisition, internal success stories and other focused material.
  • Identify content opportunities for our website, social media channels, press releases, company intranet and e-marketing campaigns. This includes project updates, significant wins and other content that promotes our service offering by working with our Sales/Strategic Business Units.
  • Further content development, including market research, copywriting, proof reading, sourcing imagery, design and managing approvals.
  • Keep a record of marketing activity, upcoming plans, and social media calendar.
  • Analyse performance of existing campaigns and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Support the development of new marketing materials such as graphics, infographics, presentations, and brochures. This includes creation of images, videos, photography, and advertising banners.
  • Support the organisation of events including conferences, networking events, corporate days and team building days.
  • Champion the brand and ensure that all marketing materials are in line with Optimised brand guidelines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation; exploring ways to improve brand awareness and implement new marketing activities.
  • Act as key point of contact and manage content contributions to support central marketing campaigns and bid activity.
  • Ensure you act as a role model, work collaboratively, act professionally and enhance positive morale and well-being at internal/external events.

What you'll need

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a marketing role/s
  • A passion for digital marketing as well as strong copywriting skills
  • Good working knowledge of PPC and SEO
  • Experience with email marketing and campaigns, Photoshop and video editing software is highly desirable, as are Marketing focused qualifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
