Project:
London Array is located off the coast of Kent in the outer Thames Estuary consisting of 175 Siemens Gamesa turbines. Within this project you'll be working within a service campaign being responsible for ensuring the efficient running of these turbines through a variation of tasks.
Scope of work
- Offshore servicing of the Siemens 3.6MW turbine.
- Project starting as soon as possible, with contract lengths to end of 2023.
- Working offshore on London Array Wind Farm.
- 2on-1off rotation
Role Description
- Electrical/Mechanical scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on the sites wind turbine generators
- Coordinating and accomplishing defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for equipment
- working in a team towards contractual extra scopes including Turbine Mounted Safety Equipment (TMSE), Crane and Lift inspection and maintenance.
- Ensuring compliance with RWE standards and UK legislation in relation to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Quality and Service delivery
- Supporting the welfare of technicians whilst on site and escalating any issues relating to transportation, and equipment
- Working alongside the RWE team members, and other 3rd party technicians, contractors and sub-contractors for various required scopes of work.
Some of your key requirements will include the below:
- Experience in servicing on the 3.6MW Siemens turbines.
- Siemens Gamesa Competent Technician Status Confirmed
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Being available to work as soon as possible.
